Our History
The Cyprus Wound Management Society (CWMS) was established in 2020 in Nicosia as a pioneering non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing wound care in Cyprus. Since its foundation, CWMS has brought together healthcare professionals with a shared mission of improving standards, promoting education, and collaborating internationally. By 2024, the Society has grown to more than 30 active members and continues to expand its impact in clinical practice, research, and public awareness.

Our Goals
Education and Training
Providing workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals.
Promotion of Research
Supporting studies and knowledge exchange to advance wound management practices.
Development of Standards
Establishing and promoting clinical guidelines and best practices in wound care.
Public Awareness
Educating the public on prevention, first aid, and proper wound care.
Collaboration
Working closely with the Ministry of Health, professional bodies, and international societies such as EWMA and EPUAP.
